Other than an artist, I am a Marketing specialist for an amazing agency as well as a local theatre actress and dancer in the Scottsdale area. I also love to spend my time focusing on health and fitness and occasionally competing in competitions.
When I'm not doing any of those things, I am spending time with my wonderful husband, and giving cuddles to my doxie Peggy.
Although my niche medium for commissions is Digital Pet Portraits with my Apple Pencil, I have a soft spot and a growing love for watercolor pieces. I also work in pencil, acrylic as well and beginning to dabble in oil.

For many years I only strictly did pencil work on paper, focusing on portraits of people. My Giddo (Grandfather) always encouraged me to paint and I'd be scared to move forward as I'd always make a mess. A few years ago I started pushing for colored pieces in paintings and I can't believe I've missed out for so long but I'm definitely making up for lost time now.
I have lots of inspiration when it comes to my work and pieces. But my number one inspiration without a doubt will always be my Giddo (grandfather) Deacon Allan A. Ramey 1926-2020.

After WWII, my Giddo returned to Lawrence, MA in 1946 and studied Photography and Art. As a child growing up, visiting and seeing his paintings in galleries and watching him paint right before my eyes always amazed me. His signature paintings were ALWAYS lighthouses. I don't want to toot my own horn but I'm pretty sure I was his favorite granddaughter. Sorry cousins! Every time I'd see him he would encourage me to pursue my art, and I would always be excited to show him my work. He's always encouraged me to move from pencil to paintings and I've finally done it!
Besides inspiring my spark for art, my Giddo was a family man who loved and cherished family and God over everything. I was incredibly blessed to have him as such a huge part of my life and he will be missed terribly. I love you Giddo!
